The biggest bully and the nerdiest kid at a middle school forge an unlikely friendship when they find themselves stuck together at the wrong school and face bullying from the biggest threat of all, a "sweet", commanding girl named Meg. An entertaining plot, energetic score and positive message told through story and character makes THE BULLY a play that young audiences can relate to without the feeling of being taught a lesson.
THE BULLY was originally commissioned by Vital Theatre Company, NY, in 2005 with direction by Suzu McConnel-Wood. In 2008 it was presented under the direction of Troy Miller and was remounted in 2012 with direction by Linda Ames Key. The first regional production was presented at Ivoryton Playhouse under the direction of Dan Nischan.
